About the Festival
Aspen Words, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025, will welcome more than 40 nationally recognized, regional and local authors to downtown Aspen, CO for engaging conversations, book signings and other literary activities.
Open to the public, the festival, presented in partnership with Book of the Month, will include an onsite bookstore, art activations, food trucks, parties and other public programming for adults and families alike.
The majority of events will be free of charge.

How to attend the Aspen Literary Festival
General Registration — Opens June 3 (FREE)

General registration is free and required for attendance.

You’ll be asked to provide your contact information and to confirm your plans to join us in Aspen.

You can register from June 3 until the Festival begins.

General registration does not include access to
VIP Experience Passes — On Sale June 3

VIP Passes go on sale on June 3 and include access to all ticketed events at the Wheeler Opera House.

As well as an invitation to the VIP Party on Saturday, September 27 at the Aspen Art Museum.

Ticket sales open on July 8 for Aspen Words members at the $100+ level and for the general public on July 10.
