We hope to see you, in-person or virtually, at the upcoming Winter Words author speaker series. Winter Words kicks off on January 29 with Ayad Akhtar and concludes on February 12 with Lauren Groff. Following is the schedule:
January 29 @ Paepcke Auditorium: Ayad Akhtar, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and novelist. His new play, “McNeal,” recently premiered on Broadway starring Robert Downey Jr.
February 5 @ TACAW: Kevin Fedarko, journalist renowned for his exploration of the Southwest and his advocacy for environmental conservation. He is the author of “The Emerald Mile” and “A Walk in the Park.”
February 12 @ Paepcke Auditorium: Lauren Groff, novelist and short story writer named one of the 100 most influential people by TIME in 2024. Her most recent novel is “The Vaster Wilds.”

There are a few options for joining the 28th season of Winter Words (2025):
- Tickets will be available for two in-person events at Paepcke Auditorium in Aspen and one in-person event at TACAW in Basalt
- A virtual season pass will be available for all three events. Pricing information coming soon!
In-person tickest will be available to the two in-person events at Paepcke Auditorium in Aspen and one in-person event at TACAW in Basalt.
A virtual season pass will be available to view all three events via livestream.
