Each year, AW distributes hundreds of books authored by our Writers in Residence throughout the Roaring Fork Valley through the Catch and Release program. Publishers contribute books by the visiting authors as a way to familiarize the community with a resident’s work, and to promote a love of reading.

Please note that Catch and Release is not possible for each and every Writer in Residence. Sometimes, an author does not have a published book, or their book is out-of-print. All books are available on a first come first served basis. Check the current Writer in Residence page or call our office (970-925-3122) to see if books are available.
